The following lectures or presentations on holistic renewal, psychology, methods of health and healing, and The Holistic Village are periodically offered, or are in planning at this time.
Holistic Renewal
Holistic Diagnosis reveals the unique theme running through the core of your being and manifesting in every aspect of you. Thus you begin to realize who you really are. When you cognize your Real Self, you can begin to take charge of your life in all its aspects. You can transform your consciousness. You can attain your goals. You can regain and maintain real health.
Holistic Renewal is a transformational process that integrates body, mind and spirit. It empowers you, and it reveals your key to a state of being that is ever-creative and joyous. Many have used it to resolve a personal crisis, to overcome a health problem, to unblock a relationship, or to break out of career stuckness. If you want life to work for you, first make the acquaintance of your Real Self.
Medicine for a New Age
Holistic Psychology: Framework for the The New Medicine
Modern psychology and modern medicine are elaborate edifices constructed to
protect established interests. They have rules and procedures designed to
protect professional privileges and maintain the status quo, not to facilitate
wellness, healing, empowerment, or transformation. Their technology is based
on nineteenth-century materialism and reductionism concepts abandoned
long ago by physics as simplistic and limiting. With their narrow purposes
and flawed premises, these professions do not, cannot, reflect the truth about
you, as you, me as me. As now constituted, they do not serve us well.
Holistic psychology, on the other hand, offers an ideal framework for personal
transformation and healing. Based on a true and complete picture of human
nature, it responds more appropriately and more fully to our needs. The Holistic
Paradigm leads us to a deep understanding of ourselves. The holistic principles
guide us on the path of transformation and healing. The transformational processes
and techniques provide the tools to get the job done.
Holistic psychology recognizes that all effective models and methods of treatment
have something in common. One way or another, by design or by inadvertence,
they all enhance the flow of life force. Standard medicine, energy medicine,
thought medicine, and spiritual healing are all ways to create, restore, and
maintain the conditions that allow life force to flow freely.
The Holistic Village
"Like a gentle zephyr, the stirrings of a new consciousness waft
over the land the dawning realization that health and illness have
to do with more than just muscle and bone and biochemistry. There is a new
awareness that health is wholeness, and that healing involves the whole person
body, mind, and spirit."
How do we build the Holistic Village, and where? Before we can even begin
to deal with issues of brick and mortar, we need go be clear about what we
are really after.
We must begin by revising our own attitudes about health and healing, and
our own own health and wellness practices. We can begin now to build our own
Village, by realigning and strengthening our personal, family, and community
support systems, including our own personal health care network.
Topics in Holistic Health and Healing
Autogenic Training: Learn to change your physiological state and your state of consciousness, thus giving free reign to the wisdom of the body, and to your intuition, to generate the desired healing or mental-emotional change. The effects are "autogenic," or self-generated, in the sense that you do it on your own, to yourself, relying on inner forces.
Eating As If It Really Mattered: We all know that eating is important for health. Most people also consider eating as the main issue in weight gain/loss. For some, this may indeed be the case. But for most, eating is actually just one of many factors in regulating weight as it is one of many factors in maintaining and restoring health. Still, for both regulating weight, and for overall health, eating matters very definitely matters. But for both weight and health, what matters is not just what we eat and how much. It also matters when and how we do
Homeopathy is a healing system that has developed out of and alongside
standard western medicine, but goes well beyond its strictly physical concepts
and procedures. The principles of homeopathy have more in common with energy
medicine and even thought medicine. However, most practitioners have never
properly thought through and resolved the implications of these differences.
To make the best use of both traditions, a holistic practice using homeopathy
needs to reflect a proper understanding of the conceptual, legal, and practical
issues that arise when operating on multiple levels.
