Dr. Gita Elgin

Dr. Gita Elgin puts people in touch with their "inner melody." To help them discover this unique life theme and express it freely, she has developed powerful techniques and processes, such as Holistic Renewal.

Once you discover who you really are and what you are about, you can consciously and freely express your life theme. Having removed the root cause of your most deep-seated problems, you can overcome ill health, emotional difficulties, or dysfunctional relationships. You are poised for creative self-mastery, transformation, and healing. You can follow your bliss.

Dr Elgin also helps health seekers to bridge the gap between standard medicine and alternative health practices, and she guides them in the judicious selection and application of appropriate health and wellness modalities.

For over two decades, Dr Elgin has promoted holistic concepts and practices in a variety of organizational contexts. Since 1980, she has been co-founder and executive director of Holistic Health Associates, a multidisciplinary health clinic dedicated to optimum wellness and health, providing health care for the whole person by fostering the physical, mental, and spiritual development of each individual. In the early ‘eighties, she hosted Holistic Perspectives on KALW/NPR. In 1985 she became founding director and first president of the Montclair Health Professionals Association, a community-based educational and service organization working to eliminate the barriers among health professionals of different disciplines, and to draw health providers closer to the community. In 1995 she launched The Holistic Village, a non-profit membership organization for physical, mental, and spiritual health and healing, of, by, and for the whole community.
